Branson Leisures new Cuffley bench has been designed to suit contemporary settings and withstand the heavy use of public areas.
Standard lengths we make our Cuffley bench are 1.5m, 2m & 2.4m. Bespoke lengths can be made on request due to the fact we make all our Street Furniture here in the UK from our workshop in Essex.
Additional arms can also be added for the cost of £20.00 ex vat per arm.
Arm dimensions = L x 345mm, w x 95mm, H x 115mm.
Seat slats are made from 220mm x 70mm pressure treated softwood and all fixings are stainless steel.
The mild steel legs are left in natural form to weather and rust for a real rustic look but we can powder coat the legs any RAL colour or galvanise on request.
Seat height = 426mm.
Seat width = 450mm.

The Cranham bench is a very robust and virtually vandal proof bench that is manufactured from green oak sleepers that are fully sanded with eased edges and rounded corners for added comfort.
The Cranham bench is ideal for parks, woodland areas and open spaces. Once installed the bench will not require any further maintenance and will withstand our British weather for many years.
The sleeper sections are 250mm x 125mm and can be cut to produce a Cranham bench to any length required. Seat height – 500mm
Standard sizes are 1.52m/ 1.8m / 2.2m.
The Cranham can also be surface or root fixed.
What is Green Oak?
The term ‘green oak’ is applied to timber that is typically freshly sawn from relatively newly felled trees. It is timber that has not been through a process of natural or mechanical drying. Natural dried oak has been seasoned for up to five years and mechanically dried oak, often seen as kiln dried, has had the drying out process quickened by the application of heat. These different terms and processes ultimately impact upon the moisture content of the timber. Green Oak is considered to have an average moisture content of 30% and so is subject to a little movement as it seasons in situ.
As the Oak naturally dries out and settles in its new environment splits & checks will appear but not in any way compromise the stability of the product.

The Cranham bench is a very robust and virtually vandal proof bench that is manufactured from green oak sleepers that are fully sanded with eased edges and rounded corners for added comfort.
The Cranham bench is ideal for parks, business complexes, schools and councils. Once installed the bench will not require any further maintenance and will withstand our British weather for many years.
Each oak slat is 290mm x 215mm and the overall bench width is 450mm.
We can manufacture our Cranham XL benches to any length required.
The Cranham can also be surface or root fixed.

The Takeley is made from Iroko (Chlorophora excelsa) that is sourced from West Africa. This is a highly durable hardwood with an attractive grain that will withstand our weather all year round.We are particularly careful to buy our timber from countries belonging to the International Tropical Timber Organisation, all of which have accepted ITTO guidelines for the sustainable production of tropical timber.
By purchasing our products it ensures that the timber resource retains an economic value, thus providing an incentive to replant, manage and protect for the future.
