At Branson Leisure, we understand that protecting urban trees while enhancing streetscapes requires thoughtful design and robust materials. The Square Silaos Tree Grille is a premium solution that combines the clean, contemporary aesthetic of our Silaos collection with functional tree protection, making it an ideal choice for municipalities, landscape architects, and private developments seeking to elevate their green infrastructure.

Design and Aesthetics
The Square Silaos Tree Grille features the signature minimalist design language of the Silaos collection, bringing a contemporary and sophisticated identity to tree pits in pedestrian zones, parks, and commercial plazas. Available in our full palette of colours, including the popular Corten effect finish, the grille can be tailored to complement existing street furniture or create a striking visual statement.
Crafted from 2 mm thick folded sheet steel, the grille offers exceptional durability while maintaining an elegant, lightweight appearance. The precision-cut geometric pattern allows optimal water and air circulation to the tree root zone, supporting healthy urban tree growth.

Functionality and Tree Care
Beyond aesthetics, the Square Silaos Tree Grille is engineered to protect both trees and pedestrians. The modular quadrant design allows for straightforward installation around existing tree trunks, with smooth, rolled edges that prevent damage to bark as the tree matures. Adequate clearance is incorporated to accommodate natural growth, reducing the need for frequent adjustments.
The grille's perforated pattern facilitates rainwater infiltration and soil aeration, essential factors for the long-term health of street trees. By shielding the root zone from compaction, debris, and pedestrian traffic, the Silaos Tree Grille helps extend the lifespan and vitality of urban trees, contributing to greener, more sustainable cities.

Installation and Maintenance
The Square Silaos Tree Grille is supplied in four modular quadrants for flexible assembly around trees of varying trunk diameters. Installation options include surface mounting for quick deployment or flush fitting for a seamless integration with surrounding paving. All fixings and assembly instructions are provided to ensure a secure, professional finish.
Maintenance is minimal: the galvanised and painted finish resists corrosion and fading, while the smooth surface is easy to clean. For installations in coastal or high-salinity environments, we recommend specifying additional galvanising treatment to maximise longevity—please contact our team for guidance.
