An exquisite London property was undergoing a complete house and garden refurbishment which included an underground spa and gym facility.
The roof garden needed to deliver the highest quality contemporary design to accompany a water feature, hard landscape and planting.
Branson Leisure manufactured vent housing and two pergolas in weather-resistant Iroko for the garden area.
The vent housing was situated above the underground spa, on the upper terrace. It was styled with flush joints, to fit in with the contemporary aesthetic of the project and included a removable panel to allow maintenance access. It was also designed to be watertight, to protect the equipment housed inside.
The pergolas were carefully designed by Branson leisure with clean lines and flush joints and a half-lapped middle section. They were made in 6 inch / 152mm square Iroko, which was sourced by Branson in an uncommon size.
The products Branson Leisure provided matched the simple detailing required by the project. The bespoke design enabled the project to be completed without any compromise to the envisaged flow and aesthetics.

Our square 8-seater picnic bench may be a solid expansion for our fabulous open-air feasting choices. A change from the ‘norm’, this round picnic benches liberally seats 8 grown-ups in a friendly face-to-face arrangement. The square picnic table is perfect as exterior seating for any setting requiring to supply comfortable open-air seating and feasting offices. And is comparable to a household in any developed neighborhood, wonderfully shaped to upgrade an unused corner and increase the utilization of your open-air space.
Sufficient solid for day-by-day utilization. Clean, classic lines, the frame is made from 50mm x 100mm, and the table beat is made from 38mm x 145mm Scandinavian Redwood. All of the timber we utilize is weight treated to ensure against decay and can be cleared out outside for year-round use without the requirement for consistent withdrawal. The tabletop and the seats have calculated and smoothed corners for security and consolation.

Cranham 1.5m backless bench

The Cranham bench is a very robust and virtually vandal proof bench that is manufactured from green oak sleepers that are fully sanded with eased edges and rounded corners for added comfort.
The Cranham bench is ideal for parks, woodland areas and open spaces. Once installed the bench will not require any further maintenance and will withstand our British weather for many years.
The sleeper sections are 250mm x 125mm and can be cut to produce a Cranham bench to any length required. Seat height – 500mm
Standard sizes are 1.52m/ 1.8m / 2.2m.
The Cranham can also be surface or root fixed.
What is Green Oak?
The term ‘green oak’ is applied to timber that is typically freshly sawn from relatively newly felled trees. It is timber that has not been through a process of natural or mechanical drying. Natural dried oak has been seasoned for up to five years and mechanically dried oak, often seen as kiln dried, has had the drying out process quickened by the application of heat. These different terms and processes ultimately impact upon the moisture content of the timber. Green Oak is considered to have an average moisture content of 30% and so is subject to a little movement as it seasons in situ.
As the Oak naturally dries out and settles in its new environment splits & checks will appear but not in any way compromise the stability of the product.
